Cop Out (2010)

The Kevin Smith directed but not written by him police comedy
You can tell that Smiths hands are on this with thing with
comic book and star wars references and other Director Trademarks
even some of Smith's friends appear as usual.
Now I thought this would have promises and thought it would be good
and it did have some nice directing as well as music and the writing was
pretty good but I didn't feel this feel as a whole was all that good..
There is some nice references in here one of the best is one to
do with "Die Hard" and Wills character reply's "I've never seen that movie before."
Now it did have some humorous scenes like the above mentioned and the one with
the kid car jacker but I don't think this movie was funny until Seann William Scott
ended up in the car with Willis and Morgan. Every scene with Seann William Scott
it was awesome and funny. Scott and Morgan have an amazing chemistry together
and just seemed to bounce off of each other you can watch the scar scene and
almost tell that Willis is trying so hard not to crack a smile or laugh.
but that is about it the movie was alright but I don't think it even came close
to being as fun or funny as "The Other Guys" and they are similar movies.
There is also a funny scene during the credits as well but the only thing that
really saved this film was Seann William Scott alone or in the scenes with
Tracy Morgan. Other then that I didn't find it was all that good. it was ok
but not good.
