Law Abiding Citizen

Wow...this was violent and intense but man was it impressive!
I always liked the "one man stands alone.." idea like in the Punisher/Walking Tall
and to a extent this. this was good in that idea and it was kind of a cross between
the Punisher and had elements of Saw in it with the whole cat and mouse chase with the
somewhat traps that were set. a lot of it was unexpected especially the phone thing with the
judge that was truly one of those "oh shit!" moments. but this was an awesome move to say
the least I loved it that's for sure and deserves a watch.

Lets Scare Jessica to death

I heard about this film quite a few times but never had a chance to watch it but wanted to
being that it has one of those odd titles that just begs to be watched. you know like "I Spit
on your Grave" or "Snakes on a Plane" and you say I wonder "hmmm...interesting" also the
poster for it looks really cool and interesting anyway this is one of those weird movies from
the 70s where you are watching and thinking what the hell is going on? I think Jessica
herself is rather odd and not to bright for one collecting headstone rubbings is a different
hobby to say the least and also it took her that long to realize the girl in the picture
looks exactly like Emily....? Also I don't quite understand what was going on was the entire
town vampires and Emily was the head one? is that what it was trying to say? its pretty
ambiguous also it wasn't very scary it wasn't much of anything really.

The Box

Wow...what? *lol* I wanted to see this the idea sounded so good but couldn't go to see it
in theater because I was trying to save some money for Christmas so I was waiting for it
here. It was quite the film, I would say it was horror but it definitely creeped me out. it
was a good mystery it was very Hitchcock/Steven King spooky and creepy but not overly.
it was one of those movies that challenges your perception of reality like the first Matrix
or 1408 or even The Game staring Michael Douglas.
as for me would I have pushed the button? Hell no!
for one I'm not going to bring some package a stranger left on my door step it could be a
bomb and if I were to bring it in I still wouldn't push it. I'm not going to believe some
weird Two-Face looking guy for all I know he could be lying and I press it and the house
explodes. I'd say thanks but no thanks. anyway it was a very interesting movie I did enjoy it.

American pie presents Book of Love

Well this marks the last of the American Pie "Spin Off" movies for now anyway.
basically in this adventure we go back to were it all started at East Great Falls High which
a bunch a fresh new faces and when an accident in the library unearths but unfortunately
damages "The Sex Bible" the book Kevin used in the very first film to learn "the Tongue
Tornado" three hapless friends with the help of people from the books past go on a quest to
repair it for future generations. Personally I didn't think this was all that good it had a
few laughs but it was somewhat tame compared to the 2 previous films Naked Mile and Beta
House it didn't have any of the fun that those 2 had it does try to recapture the feel of
the first 2 American Pie movies but I don't think it completely pulls it off and I feel kind
of sorry about that.

American pie Presents Beta House

continuing with our viewing of the American Pie "spin off" titles
we re join the gang from Naked Mile as they finish High school
and begin their first year at college where Erik and company
join back up with his crazy cousin Dwight at party central
Beta House, were both the tits and laughs are plentiful!
Personally I'm pleased that they continued with the same characters
from the previous film Naked Mile instead of going whole a whole new bunch
of people. I also though this was a lot more fun and funny then
the previous one and it didn't seem to hold much back
and that seemed to make a better more enjoyable film.

American pie Presents Naked Mile

Now I love the original Trilogy with Jim and the gang I sent to see all 3 in theater.
so I started watching these "spin off" movies I seen Band camp which was pretty good
so I moved on to this one. You can tell that Universal doesn't have any part in these any
more and if they do it is very limited. I think they are trying to turn this into the next
National Lampoon type of series and trying to make money off the American Pie name although
it was quite funny it was somewhat stereotypical and a bit predictable at times. What I would
truly like to see from American Pie is that some of the original cast return and show Jim
with a teenage Son or Daughter and they have the same problems he did and it would show Jim
in that awkward father role similar to Eugene Levy's character almost a " the son has become
the father" type of thing and Eugene Levy would make an appearance as the kids grandpa. I
think it would be funny and very good.
