Cloudy With a chance of Meatballs

anyway I wanted to see this but didn't have the money but thought it would be funny and I
just have to say...wow this move was excellent, it was probably one of the best movies I
seen all year. it really spoke to me especially the start when the scientist guy was a kid
and when he was older and the relationship with his father who quite didn't understand.
As I said I thought this was going to be funny but it went beyond that! it had me
laughing with in the first 3 or so minutes and kept me laughing all the way through
in short its amazing and I loved it and with an all star cast featuring people like
Mr.T, Bruce Campbell and Anna Faris, ect. how could you go wrong! anyway stop reading this
and watch it watch it now!

Darkcity

I always was interested in watching this people always talk about it and always say such good
things and it always looked good. I was always told that is was very Matrix like and I can
see how people can compare it to that I also think it shares other elements from movies like
The Truman Show, Total Recall, you know those movies where "The world that you see around you
is not all that it seems" but it was very good it was oddly interesting with an almost
spooky with a sci-fi feel so I liked it.

ROB ZOMBIE PRESENTS THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO

What the hell was that? this movie was retarded! I think this is one of those movies that
people would say was awesome if you were drunk or high on something and I'm talking totally
wasted. It wasn't really funny there were a few things that had gotten a smile out of me but
that was about it. The animation was good but the writing was horrible! it was like some
horny teenager wrote it. Its not something I would watch over again.

The Goods Live hard sell hard

I remember seeing the TV spots for this a while ago and thinking that it would probably be
funny and yes I was right it is very funny! I had a good laugh while watching this I like
movies like this where they have a bit of randomness, odd and silly I think it makes them
more funny. any way I thought it was good it made me laugh.

The Girlfriend Experience

First off I wanted to wait until I watched both versions before making a comment.
I watched the original version as well my comment can be found here

Directors Cut

In this alternate cut there were a few things that were different
there were a few new scenes and some that seemed extended or altered
the "handycam" footage was practically removed from this version
it appears extremely timed down at near the end of the movie which
is better in my view all that because it makes the film seem to move
smoother with out all that garbage bogging it down. with the removal
of the "handycam" stuff it seems like some scenes were moved around
but I don't really think that's the case it might just seem that way
but all in all I would have to say I like this version better then
the original.

Theatrical

I wanted to see this simply for the fact that Sasha Grey was in it, I would have to say I am
a fan of hers I do find here very attractive. any way when I started watching it I felt that
the editing was a bit off and felt somewhat confused at times being that I thought it was
telling 3 maybe 4 different stories and her story was just a small part of an over all film
but was I continued to watch I noticed that it was in fact just one story but it was shown I
guess you would say out of sequence or out of order. as for the film itself is its alright
its the the greatest but at the same time it is pretty good. you do feel sorry for her at
certain points like when the dude sets up the romantic weekend and does show up I was like
"oh no thats not good, not right at all" also the review the fat blogger guy calling himself
"the connoisseur" writes was not very good either it was quite harsh. The scene with him in
it I felt like he was shoveling the BS pretty hard and he was probably gay to begin with also
The Jewish guy at the end was kinda funny it made me laugh also there is some more after the
credits.

Jennifer's Body

I wanted to see this the trailers looked good and I like Megan Fox she is very attractive and
I enjoyed her in the Transformers movies. As for the film itself it was pretty good, I
enjoyed it it was a cool fun watch. I felt like I missed something part away through like
some form of explanation or a scene of some sort but I didn't thy just hadn't gotten to it
yet which helped in the watching. over all its not a bad movie at least I didn't think so but
give it a watch and see for yourself. also the character of Jennifer reminded me of someone
I know which made it kind of funny The only thing I was wondering was did Jennifer and her
best friend "needy" have some kind of psychic link or connection of some sort?

District 9

I went to see this the other night because it looked good and it was quite good actually the
story was interesting, the effects were impressive and it was beautifully shot. the only
problem I really had with this was I found some parts in my opinion didn't make much common
sense. Like the black liquid it took them 20 years to find that small amount? I mean near
the end the Mech battle suit was hemorrhaging the stuff why didn't they just empty that thing
out and use the stuff from that? and the part where the Alien dude told the infected guy it
would take 3 years to fix him and then the infected guy knocks out the alien dude and tries
to steal the ship/power module, where the hell did he think he was going to go? what the hell
did he think he was going to do with it? if I was the infected guy I would have said "ok
well take me with you and we can work on it on the way" then I would have call my wife and
told her I'm going a way for a while and if she ask how long I'll tell her I'll be back in 3
years. also if the alien dude had this plain why didn't he rally his people around it and
be all "were getting off this rock, whoever what to come with me grab your shit together and
lets go" other then those few little things the movie was great.
