The Crazies
I would have to agree it was a weirdly good movie. It started off quite quick and didn't let
up with a steady stream of action and frights. I thought it was well done nicely filmed and
acted and is very enjoyable. some nice make-up effects for the "infected" and plenty of
tension. I have to say it was a pretty good movie.
The Cursed
LOL this was an alright movie for a "Made for TV" type of thing the story was somewhat
predictable and the acting in parts was not the best. The effects although cheesy in a way
work and it has an I guess you would say "Ambiguous ending" you don't know what really happened
did they shot each other? or did the sheriff just shoot the guy. also what was up with the
black guy Willy's voice? it was crazy squeaky all in all it was an alright movie good for
killing time.
America the Beautiful
I think this was a very interesting that everyone should watch and yes it brings up the old
arguments about people being to focused on physical beauty an not on what actually makes
people truly beautiful. This film takes a good look as well as try to ad some humor to it
all I find the film maker is honest, real and a very likable guy as he takes us through this
film.
I try myself to look at people and see them who they are on the inside rather then going for
the physical I know that might sound preachy but its true I have been with other who society
probably wouldn't consider "beautiful" but I liked them and that is all that mattered and is
that what it is all about what you consider beautiful not what the media or some billboard
tells is beautiful?
An American Crime
This was pretty much wow, it was a very shocking and emotionally gripping film. I surprised
it didn't get any press. It stars Ellen Page, Catherine Keener and James Franco.
it was an impressive film but the woman in it Catherine Keener's character was crazy!
her whole family was a bit crazy doing all that stuff to that poor girl who did nothing to
anyone
but also the parents for leaving the girls with this one that they don't even know was a big
mistake on their part to begin with. No one did anything to help her while she was being
viciously beaten and molested especially the ones next door the girl is screaming and
pleading for her life and the neighbors are like "best to say out of it" what the hell? I
would have been over there to see what was wrong or at the very least call the cops. Also
the scene where they are carving her up the guy with the glasses did nothing he should have
grabbed the crazy mother but no he stays to finish the job! also I didn't like the whole
"escape" scene becasue you are happy that she gotten away but then they pull the old sorry
she didn't actually get away she died and that whole scene was her as a ghost and that kind
of makes you mad. but other then that it was a very awesome movie.
Hijacking Catastrophe: 9/11, Fear and the Selling of American Empire
This on was alright I can't say it was one of the best I've seen but it was ok it has some
interesting parts about it so it was an ok watch but I wouldn't say it was anything really special.
it was very serious in its presentation also I didn't really like the narrators voice
it seemed to bug me for some reason if you have some time to kill give this one a watch.
America: Freedom To Fascism
With was an interesting one, it doesn't really apply to me being
that I don't live in the USA but it was a good watch all the same and
shocked by some of it well not actually shocked more surprised I guess
there were some funny parts but it was good
so if you are an American don't pay your income tax becasue
there is no law that states you have to pay Federal Income Tax *lol*
I'm reminded of a quote:
"People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their
people."
Loose change American coup
I remember watching the first Loose Change Doc I think it was
"Version 2" or whatever and it was very good and this continues
that with this one I believe this is all true I always thought
that is was an inside job, a self inflicted wound on America.
there is a saying that I have always heard "if it doesn't make sense
then its not true" and when presented with the facts and compared them
to "the official story" it doesn't make sense and comes out as being
impossible so give this a watch, and remember the truth is out there.
I watch a lot of Movies simply because I love movies in general so on here I will post what I thought of ever movie I watch. being that I'm not a professional film critic and just a guy who likes to watch. I'll do my best not to come off as snooty or arrogant. but I hope you find what I have have to say interesting. Always remember "There are no bad movies some are just better then others"

The WolfMan
I'd have to say it was a very good movie I did enjoy it
I vaguely remember seeing the original when I was little
as for this new one I found it was a bit loose on the story
kind of but then again you are not going to watching it
for its complex plot you want to see the Wolfman!
and speaking of which he was very classic in this design
you can tell they didn't want to update him and have him look
like "Modern Werewolves" similar to those seen in stuff like
Underworld. The visual/Make-up effects were impressive
and really sold the film as did the production design this
seems like it can fit right in with recent films The Mummy
and Van Helsing it has the feel to it. The guy playing the
Wolfman Benicio Del Toro did a very good job as did
Anthony Hopkins and Hugo Weaving but that is to be expected
the only problem is every time I see Hugo Weaving I think
of Agent Smith *lol* anyway this was very good its not an
action movie although there is a lot of fast paced exciting
action but it lays heavy on the horror end it is very dark and
will probably give you a jump or 2 but it is a fun movie
to watch
Surrogates
I wanted to see this for a while it seemed kinda of interesting
it reminded me in a way of the Matrix and/or Avatar. I personally
think technology is moving in this direction the ideas put forth in the film
made me thinking of this as the next step in the evolution of the internet
and this could be what it evolves into it is pretty much like a massive
MMO much like the Sims or even "Second Life". If the technology
existed to do this today I would myself do it I think it would be cool
also Bruce Willis is always fun to watch I would have to say he
always plays a good cop type character and the character of
Older Canter (James Cromwell) who is he to say how people live
or want to live I can some what understand his reasons for doing
what he was doing but at the same time he doesn't really have the right
to impose what he believes on to other people. Also I didn't really
favor the ending all that much I did find it a bit selfish on the part
of Willis' character I mean you should let people do as they please
no one was hurting anyone else and by clicking the "No" you are taking
the peoples choice away people are just going to want another one
or have theirs fixed. but anyway it was a very good movie nice action
interesting story and some cool effects.
Perfect Creature
This was pretty good, it is an interesting twist on the Vampire story.
where they live in peacefully co-exist with humans and are pretty much protectors of mankind
in a way and known as "Brothers" through they are the ruling body of the church but all hell
breaks loose when one is born that does not want to serve and protect but rather kill and
become the typical blood sucking monster and its a race against time for a police woman and a
Vampire Brother to stop the monster before he spreads the infection. Like I said this was
pretty good it was slick and stylized and reminiscent of the recent Sherlock Holmes film it
had that similar look and feel. This moved quite fast and you wish you could learn more
about this world which is a shame being it seems so very interesting you want to know more.
all in all I thought it was quite good nicely shot and even had some very good visual effect
in it also its not the best movie but it is a good one.
The Children
Now this is a British movie and I know that they are a bit different from the ones that are
made state side being I have see a few from over there some have been good and others not
sometimes you don't know what is going on and that is the case with this one. I had no clue
what was going on its starts off with a family get together on Christmas which I understand
then one of the kids gets sick and then another and before you know it they have all gone
crazy and are systematically picking off the adults one by one also they seem to at times
posses some type of super speed and maybe even enhanced strength but can't be sure at that
and how did they get like this I'm not quite sure maybe some form of biological toxin spread
through the air? its not quite explained. you just seem to jump form point A to B to C oh
well it was an alright watch but not very clear on story.
Little children
This was pretty good it was well written, filmed and acted at least I thought so there were a
few familiar faces in this. I know it was a drama but I at times wondered if this was suppose
to be a comedy some of its was hilarious it was probably not meant to be but it was
especially the narration. even though there was some unintentional humor some of it was kind
of sad a a bit depressing. I found it was a story about 4 lives that intersect at important
moments through out the characters singular life that changes them makes them grow as a
person and shows them what is truly important. any way I thought it was quite a good film all
around.
Dante's Inferno Animated
wow that was very impressive it is quite the Animated Epic.
but keep in mind it is not for the faint of heart or for younger kids being it is quite
violent with alot of blood and guts spilling out all over the place this is truly for the 16
and up crowd. It did remind me of God of War in a way and the game it is biased on is
probably similar to that one. The animation itself is impressive although at I'd say 4
different points through the movie the character designs and animation style change so this
must have been a collaboration similar to how "Batman: Gotham Knight" was done a couple of
the styles looked similar to how "Lady Death" was done as well as the Hellboy animated
features. all in all it was pretty good nice fast paced action, stunning visuals, awesome
creatures/monster designs and Mark Hamill!
what more can you ask for? I'd have to say I really like it so if you can handle the gore
and ultra violence then go for it!

Night of the living Dead 3D
NOW IN 3D!!!! oOoOoO, Ahhhhhhh....
well it is in "3D" but in the original red and blue 3D. I tried watching it with my red and
blue glasses that I have and it does work but after like the first 10mins or so it just
became annoying so i watched the rest with out them. wearing the glasses makes no real
difference. It is in no way as good as the original black and white film which it is biased
on the zombie make up and the very few effects in this movie were good but the rest was not
the acting especially is horrible alone with some of the various scenes but it did have some
nice boobs in it so its not all bad right?
Lovecraft: Fear of the Unknown
This is an interesting Documentary about a very interesting man. I thought it was very well
done and put together it is one of the better Doc I seen in a while. As I said it was very
well done and has almost this A&E Biography type of feel and style to it. It also featured
speakers such as John Carpenter, Neil Gaiman and Guillermo del Toro. If your interested in
the man behind the legend give this a watch.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon
Well I must say I'm not big fan of the Twilight series being that I am not female.
but being that its popular I give it a look to see why it is so popular. I watched the
first one I think I commented on it on here a while back there were parts of it I liked and
parts of it I didn't but that is the first movie and were here to talk about the second.
I would have to say I slightly enjoyed the second a tiny bit more then the first probably
because there seemed to be more. The vampires seem to love having her around even though she
is human which I though was nice but the thing thing that bugs me is the Edward character
and his relationship with Bella reminds me of that Katy Perry song "Hot N Cold" he is all
"baby I love you" then is is all "I never loved you and never want to see you again!" and
then he runs away and becomes this "Obi wan force image" I don't know if he is in her mind
or she is just going crazy and he is all "use the force Bella" and then did she really sit in
that chair for 3 months? she must have had a sore butt I do hope she gotten up for bathroom
breaks *lol* then she starts hanging out with Jacob and the funny thing is he does the same
thing to her "baby I love you" then "go away I don't want to be around you" you have to
feel sorry for the poor girl being that no one wants her...but like I said it was a bit funny
more so then the first one especially in the scene were they are at the movies and the guy
gotten up during the movie and was all "I think I'm going to be sick" I had a few laughs. I
do have to say that the wolf effects were very impressive I think that was the best part of
the movie for me, also I remember people making a big deal about Dakota Fanning being in this
and she didn't do much of anything really...also is Bella some sort of "Chosen One"? also I
don't understand Edward's reluctance to make her a vampire if that is what she wants then
why not give it to her? also another funny thing about this is even though the 2 sides are
fighting and the vampire council is breathing down the Cullen's necks two guys can have a
stare down about who gets the girl *lol* anyway this was an alright movie there was some
lame dialogue that made me roll my eyes but like I said it was an alright move and better if
you see the first one.
The Lovely Bones.
I was interested in seeing this but didn't really know what to expect..
the promotional media was saying that it was about a girl who helps her father capture her
killer from beyond the grave and I would have to say that that is not really true..
I was expecting something more along the Lines of Stir of echos where she appears to him as
more of a ghost but that was not truly the case this is more of a story about a serial killer
and a girls journey for justice from beyond the grave and the father who never gave up
searching. Now I thought it was a pretty good movie the story is kind of odd in places and
the visuals are impressive but the way I see it the dead girl didn't real have any affect on
solving her own murder not that I could see unless she was doing it in a way I could not see
you see her watching from the pseudo-heaven but not really doing anything. Her sister and
father seem to be doing all the work. Also the killer had a pretty elaborate plan that he
carried out to get her, true there have been more elaborate plans in the passed by both real
and fictional killer to get their prey but this one just seemed to me like it was a lot of
work more so then necessary. also she was so stupid to fall into this trap...if she had any
sense at all she would have kept her distance. also the ending was almost bitter sweet I
didn't really like the part were they didn't find her body and he seemingly gotten away with
it the one with the black hair girl should have stopped him from putting the safe in the
sinkhole that whole scene didn't fit at all I was actually shouting "do something, stop him"
it was I think the baddest part of the movie, but on the other hand I did enjoy what happened
to him after that it was very karma like and made me laugh all in all it was a pretty good
movie it has some flaws but also good points also.
Cornered.
Staring Steve Guttenberg! Hells Yeah! LOL
I took a peak at this I have to say it was more nicely done then I though it was going to be
and it was a tad on the funny side The black woman who is obsessed with ice cream was pretty
funny and probably the funnest part of this as well and the dude with the whole cockroach
thing was hilarious. I have to say it was quite enjoyable and you have to love the generic
"mask man" running around killing people, and there were some nice interesting kills in this
but I think it lacked something that would have made it great. as well some of the acting
seemed a bit stale at times but other then that it was pretty good I liked it.
Legion
I went to see this with a friend of mine recently I thought the trailers looked cool so I
wanted to see it. When I first heard about it it was described to me as being "Its like
Terminator, but with Angels" and I have to point out that there is no lack of similarity
between the 2 films. Now if you watch this in hopes of seeing some biblical epic with a
profound religious meaning you are not going to find it here. This movie is all action!
and it had a lot of nice action and a few dark humor chuckles also the effects were
pretty good I wouldn't say anything you haven't see before but they were good it had a good
look it was a fast and fun watch. I liked Gabriel's mace it was pretty neat.

Adam
I waited and waited to see this. The movie was a nice portrayal of someone with this
rather odd disorder. I wouldn't say it was 100% actuate but it was very very close
but then again every case is different. The subject of this film was interesting to me
being that I know about it from personal experiences and wanted to see this because of that.
I felt that it was a very heart felt little film that captures many aspects of someone
who is living with this very difficult and very frustrating disorder and what people
with it have to deal with and how they struggle in a world that seems Foreign and doesn't
understand. The acting I felt had realism as well as it being nicely shot and written I did
laugh at scenes being that like I said I have had experiences with the subject matter I think
is is one of the most over looked films in a while and that it should be given a chance and
be watched and hopefully something is learned or taken way from the film.
Planet Hulk
I picked this up on blu ray the other day I felt kind of guilty in watching it being I
haven't read the books yet I have the whole thing also what becomes before it and after it I
just haven't gotten a chance to real it all yet. your basic story is earth's mightiest
heroes have deemed the Hulk to powerful and dangerous to be left on earth so he is exiled to
outer space but something goes wrong and he crashes on I would say Marvel's version of
"Warworld" (those who follow DC books would be familiar with it) and he is forced to compete
in the games and rises up with the help of new friends to over throw the tyrannical ruler.
first off if you are looking for plenty of "Hulk Smash!" this has that in spades but even
thought it has a lot of brilliant, exciting fights and action sequences this also has a nice
well thought out plot and some very moving imagery. It truly is the Hulk like you have never
seen before. I also am pleased with this Direct to video features that both Marvel and DC are
doing I think I mentioned it on here before in another review that I'm happy that they are
doing them on the PG-13 level for the older fans and not making them for the general
audiences because if they did I wouldn't think they would be as good or as popular as they
are if they were for little kids.
Post Grad
Well first off I thought this was going to be the typical "chic flick" that makes you gag
but actually it is pretty good and doesn't conform to the chic flick stereotype I think it
would be more of a family movie about a young lady, her dreams and her crazy family. This is
also helped along by an all star cast, nice writing and being well shot. Michael Keaton
stands out in this as the crazy but well meaning father and gives the movie the majority of
its laughs.
the only thing that bugged me about it was the one who played Jessica (Catherine Reitman) she
sounds like a man! I mean come on that is a rather deep manish voice for a young woman.
also Alexis Bledel's eyes were weird they were like so blue they were glowing. anyway its an
alright movie it was a fun watch.
House of the Devil
This was pretty good but I doubt it is "Based on a True Story..." as it clams.
it stars Tom Noonan (Cain from Robocop 2 and Ripper from Last Action Hero) I didn't
recognize him at first but as soon as he started talking I was all "Hey that's..."
also the one who Samantha (Jocelin Donahue) was very cute I have to say I did enjoy watching
her in this. As for the movie it has a nice 70's/80's feel to it which I think made it
better over all but this also reminds me of another movie I seen not to long ago I think it
was called Babysitter Wanted when the kid is a demon or something. anyway..this was pretty
good it was a bit slow going but it kept you interested and almost one your toes I though a
few time while Samantha was roaming about the house something was going to jump out but it
didn't and speaking of which why do movies like this take place out in the middle of no
where? I guess for the seclusion you can kill as many people as you want if you live out in
the country *S* but Samantha should have listened to her friend and left oh well to late
now. but all in all it was an alright movie I didn't find it scary it was more atmospheric
"what is going to happen next" type of thing
I Believe in UFOs
This was a pretty good Doc it was fun and and light hearted and the host comes off as a
generally likable guy. I also believe in them as well and if you are interested in the topic
give it a watch.
Family Guy Presents: Something Something Something Dark Side
I wanted to see this when I first seen the trailer I enjoy Family guy I wouldn't say I'm a
fan but I do like it and I did enjoy the first Star Wars thing they did. Now while watching
this you can really tell they put a lot of work into it the animation is perfect the jokes are
laugh out loud funny even familiar gags seem to have a whole new light in this. The first
one was good and this one takes it to a whole new level and surpasses it and you can truly
tell they intended this for a direct to video release and not to be put on TV being it has a
little bit of foul language but I'm happy they went right to DVD because if they made this
for TV it wouldn't have been as good and probably would have cheapened it. but I was pleased
very pleased with it.
Now I wonder once they do Return of the Jedi will they do the prequels also or just leave it
at that, I guess only time will tell.
Elvira, Mistress of the Dark
I truly never seen this before now. I was somewhat familiar with the character
some what due to her popularity in the late 80s and early 90s as well as through
various pop-culture references but never true knew anything about her other then the
basics and never seen this so I took the opportunity to watch this for the first
time and I have to say it was pretty good the story was a bit predictable
but it was well done and was quite funny it did give me a few laughs
and the one playing Elvira truly made this enjoyable to watch
so I would have to say I rather liked it and could watch it again.

Brothers
I Wanted to see this mainly since it stars 3 really great actors at least I think so, also
the trailers looked very good. Now this is a very powerful emotionally charged film that has
a bit of sadness to it. Personally I think if this doesn't win an Oscar or doesn't even get
nominated then this is a problem somewhere. The story is very good and you can see the role
reversal half way through. where Jake Gyllenhaal plays a an ex-con who is the brother of the
"all American boy" and Marine Tobey Maguire who is the family favorite and perfect
father/Husband who get sent off to Afghanistan and become "presumed dead" and Jake
Gyllenhaal's character ends up doing the right thing helping out Tobey's widow and kids
inadvertently taking his place. This is where the role reversal come in to play when Tobey's
character returns and and somewhat take the role of Gyllenhaal's character and the angry
outside who is dealing with PTSD for some of the things he did over seas and it all comes to
a sad very somber end.
While watching it I thought Gyllenhaal's character did the right thing is helping out
Portman's grieving widow. I personally don't have a brother but have someone who I would say
I treat like one since I've known them for so long and if a situation happened where he
possibility died I would want to help out his wife and kid the best I could because they were
important to him I don't know if his wife would want me to being I don't think she likes me
much so I'd be there for his kid at least. also I wouldn't have told the terrorist anything
about what they wanted to know and also I wouldn't have killed the guy with the pipe I would
have probably hit the guy with the hand gun or thrown it at the dude with the glasses and if
they killed me at least I'd know I went down fighting! anyway this is an awesome movie and
should be watched.
Bitch Slap!!
I don't know exactly what to say about this one. It was one of those movies you hear a lot
about then nothing at all. I wanted to see it because I always have an interest in
entertainment featuring strong female characters and this has that in spades it almost plays
out in a way like a music video. The film is one big wet dream sexy girls, guns, girl fights,
pole dancing, strippers, wet t-shirts, butt shaking, boobs jiggling, tough talking ladies,
ect. you name it! its in here. The writing is a bit juvenile but funny you'll probably get a
chuckle or a laugh out of it while you are watching and speaking of the fights again they are
very good you have to watch this just for that *S* one thing I liked was the little Asian
girl with the yo yo that was pretty cool and the story or should I say back story is told
through a series of flash backs that tell you what and why the girl are out in the desert in
the start of the film. although the ending was a bit predictable this was a fun movie it is
not the best movie but I did enjoy it and hell even the closing credits are worth watching
*lol*
Staunton Hill
This was an alright movie, not the best but alright I though it was nicely shot and pretty
well acted. One thing I noticed is the poster for this at the top of the page is almost
Identical to the one for Stir of Echos and this movie also stars the big lady/tea lady from
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake. Her and the one playing her mom in this deliver some good
laughs but I didn't find it scary art all it was kind of slow it wasn't until I'd say an hour
in to the movie before it began to pick up.
Your basic story is it takes place in the 60s as a group of Teens/20 somethings are on there
way to Washington DC run into car trouble and take shelter in a near by farm only to be set
upon by the inhabitants of the farm who knock them off one by one in order to sell the body
parts on the black market. like I said it was an alright movie but was a bit slow for the
first hour.
The Woodsman
I seen this a few years ago around the time it was released on video but for some reason I
was thinking about it all day and I thought I would give it another watch.
Kevin Bacon is a cool guys and a good actor and this is a very powerful and moving film
its a story about a broken man who is trying to get his life back on track after being gone
for along time for the crimes he committed. I think it is well acted and beautifully shot
with some very nice symbolism. The only thing that angers me about the movie is that
secretary at the lumber yard should of kept her noise out of his business and let it be like
her boss said but not she had to go and try and force him out of his job and tell everyone I
hope she was fired for that. anyway this is a good movie if you can handle the subject
matter.
Late Fee
um...ok
well this movie is one of those anthology ones were you get a couple of short stories instead
of on long story. The basic story in as follows a couple taking it easy from the Halloween
party scene decide to rent some scary movies and have a nice spooky time at home. The head
off to a store that boasts the scariest movies in the world they pick up a couple and the
guy behind the register tells them if they do not return them on time they will suffer the
consequences of the Late Fee! OoOoOoOoOo. as the couple watch their movies you get to see
them as well these are the 2 short stories that comprise this film. The 2 stories are kind
of stupid and try to give off this "Grindhouse" feel the second seemed longer then the first
and was more retarded. in the end they failed to return the videos on time and ending up
paying the Late Fees with their lives! *gasp, shock!* the film it self was very amateurish
this is truly low budget and the editing was very wonky at times the only real good thing I
can say about this this film is the store in it where the videos come was was real cool
looking I would mind visiting it because I'm assuming it is an actual place (I doubt they
would have the money in the budget to create one *lol* )
I Wanted to see this mainly since it stars 3 really great actors at least I think so, also

Staring Arnold Vosloo!!
I personally thought this was pretty good it didn't seem cheap like most of these Direct to
video ones do. I thought there was some nice action and some good humor in there also.
the acting and Dialogue were pretty good I don't have any complaints I enjoyed it it kept me
interested. It reminded me in a way of the Hercules/Xena shows from the 90s.

I have seen this a few time but it is truly a classic. Who in their right mind would give
Weird Al a movie deal *lol* but truth be told you have to be out of your right mind to watch
it the movie is wonderful and filled with wacky randomness wrapped around a story that
will make you laugh. Weird Al is in top form here caring on the sense of parody from his
videos in full form here and speaking of videos one of the corner stones of this film is the
cutting edge computer graphics sequence *lol* for the Beverly Hillbillies song but this
movie is great wacky fun and features many familiar names besides Weird Al such as Michael
Richards, Fran Drescher, Billy Barty (Gwildor) and David Bowe. but all in all its a fun
movie and on a side note a friend of mine had a chance a few years ago to meet Weird Al which
is pretty cool.

I seen this the other night at the theater
personally I would have to say it was pretty good I did like it
Denzel Washington was very impressing in this role and also
Gary Oldman played a villain very well. The world and production
design and story was very impresses as well as the action
it was quick, sharp and brutal they way you would expect it
at the end of the world. Speaking of the end it had a good one
also at least I thought so. I also like the design of the
machete he had it was different and cool but the only one
thing bugs me about this film was he blind or could he see?
there were times times when he seemed blind like bumping into
things but then other times he seemed like he could see everything
especially in the action sequences you couldn't take out 7 guys
with just a machete and shoot things with pin point accuracy
and know there was a house off in the distance if you are blind??
well you could if you were Daredevil but this isn't no Marvel comic
so I doubt it... People are debating about whether or not he was blind.
I heard people say He was originally blind. Then given the gift
of sight when he came into possession of the Book in order to
carry out his task then when he arrived at his destination,
he was safe and no longer needed sight, so he went back to being blind.
to me that does make sense because I don't think he was blind for the
whole movie.
The Day the Earth Stopped.
you have to give it to the people at this Asylum studio
they really do try. The have see a few horror/Thriller movies
that they did which were actually pretty good. I find then they
do an original idea it turns out pretty good but when they do a
rip off of a big well known movie like this one here it turns into
a film that is laughable fun. One scene in the film that gave me a
good laugh is the main characters get car jacked and the car jacker
claims that he wants the car because it is the only working car in
the city and in the background you can see cars driving by *LOL*
anyway I'd have to say it was a lot better then The Exterminator
especially effects wise at lease. Also the "Female alien" is
very attractive so its not a total loss.
The Princess And The Frog
This was pretty good the animation was good with some 3D enhancements
the story was nice and the characters were fun and interesting and it
had a lot of funny moments This was Classic Disney through and through
it did remind me a lot of the Little Mermaid for some reason.
and there seemed like a lot of singing in this more then the usual
Disney animated feature like all the main characters had to have a song
there is nothing wrong with that of course you just don't want it bogged
down with too much singing. Also I remember when this was in production
there was some controversy about it I can't seem to remember exactly what
it was about I think it had something to do with racism and stereotyping.
anyway I thought it was good and will probably become a classic
much like other Disney animated ventures.
The Fourth Kind
Oh wow!! I wanted to see this in theater the trailers themselves were frighting
and this movie was truly fighting and I believe this is true. This was more frighting
then that crap sandwich Paranormal Activity. This was awesome it was nicely shot and
edited in a unique way that adds to its creepiness. and the archive footage adds to its
frightening appearance. also the funny thing is I knew the creepy voice was speaking
Sumerian when she first listened to the tape in here office way before they ever
made that knowledge know *lol* hey I'm no fool I'm smrt I know my dead languages.
but this movie is crazy and frighting and should be watched!

Avatar
I was curious about the whole 3D aspect of the thing being this was my first Digital 3D movie
I had the chance to see stuff in 3D previously but I didn't I waited for this because I knew
it would be awesome and I wanted it to be special but the person I went with seen a few
things in the 3D way and told me it wasn't like "original 3D" with stuff popping out at you
in that cheesy way so when the movie started I put on my glasses and the first thing I saw
was the Trailer for Shrek 4 and I started freaking out a bit, it was like I was having some
crazy drug fulled trip *lol* and then after that one it was the trailer for Alice in
Wonderland in 3D and by then I had the hang of it I think it was just being that it was
something new and I never seen it before so it took a minute or so to get use to it there
were a couple non 3D ones after that and then the real magic the movie itself started and
what I seen there I almost can't describe, it was truly beautiful when we were leaving I
said to my friend "I have witnessed the future and it is called Avatar 3D..."
it was a very impressive effect thought at one point when they were going through the jungle
I even moved my head slightly because I thought one of the plants was going to hit me in the
face!?! and things like the dust or Ash from the Home Tree or even those little white
spidery tree spirit things it was like you could reach out and brush it out of the way.
it was very realistic it seemed to implement almost like a layer structure instead of watch
a flat image like you do with most movies it pulled things out to give it the sense of depth
kind of like watching a pop-up book or like one of those Hologram card you use to get.
but I was very impressed it seemed to pull you in to the film rather then just watch it.
it in terms its not a movie you watch but you experience.
Like I said the thing was awesome the characters and designs, The action the story ever thing
was truly impressive I think you have to see this in 3D to truly experience and enjoy it.

This was an alright movie, its one of those movies you would find in the erotic
thriller/drama section of the local video store it has nudity and sexual situations in it but
it wouldn't be considered porn it is very softcore. I wanted to give this a look mainly
because the plot description sounded interesting. The only real problem is there is a lot of
the talking is in Italian I think and I don't speak that but oddly enough you can get the
basic just of what they are talking about but there is a lot of English spoken as well I'd say
it is pretty much half and half in a way. Another thing I was wondering through the film is
the professors wife although very attractive seems quite young to be married to him for 20
years and it is stated in the film
anyway the basic story is he wants his wife to loosen up and be more sexual and he ends up
getting jut that through a series of events and she ended up killing the the poor professor
with a case of coitus! and what a horrible fate that be *lol* anyway this was rather funny
and if you like these types of movies give this one a look.
The Road
Well first off there wasn't much press for this was it a limited release? I know it was
playing in a theater somewhere. I personally only seen one TV spot once for this and that
was it. there was virtually no ads on TV for it and in my local theater there was no
mention of it at all no posters no trailers no nothing. We have a big multiplex so they
usually play just about everything that is "coming soon to a theater near you" and with all
the big names in it you would think it would get a little more press. The only reason I knew
about this one was the one TV spot and people talking about it online.
It is a dark bleak future similar to what is seen in stuff like Children of Men or the
Terminator, but this isn't an action adventure type of this is very dramatic some what sad
in a way. I'm assuming in the story there was some type of nuclear attack of some sort and
what is left is a dying world. Through the film you follow a father and son on a journey
through the decaying remnants of civilization and the world as a whole..
you watch them in pain and desperation as they struggle to survive. this is a movie that you
would want to be watching on a fun movie night even though it was nicely shot and well acted.
Through the movie the father seemed very sick I was wondering from what? some form of
cancer, radiation poisoning or maybe some respiratory problem like TB developed, I'm not
sure. Also I didn't much like the the ending it doesn't explain much you think there would
be more but the ending was kind of abrupt but it was a pretty good movie.
Inglourious Basterds
Well first off I have to say I am not a really big fan of Quentin Tarantino I don't believe
he is the cinematic genius people make him out to be I personally think he is pompous,
arrogant has an extremely high sense of self importance and self grandeur. Now being that I
don't know the man personally I don't know that what I said is true it is just an opinion I
have based on what I seen in interviews and the like. Usually watching any of his movies is
pretty cringe worthy experience but being I'm a impartial when it comes to movies I'll watch
anything and honestly say what I thought about it.
Now of course when it came to this and knowing that is was Quentin Tarantino's I did say
"ugh" but then I heard nothing but good things about it so I thought I would give it a watch
and as much as it pains me to say it was pretty good it is completely from all of this other
films and is rather enjoyable to watch it is interesting and fun, well
acted/cast/shot/written. It had a good start and a good end a good flow in between even
yellow subtitles which i was pleased with being that I find them easier to read being that
they don't clash with anything in the background.
it felt like a serious film and none of what I said about him above seemed to shine through
so I was pleased all in all it was a good film after all, I was pleased and a bit impressed.
Gutterballs
Well now I don't know just how to describe this one...horror porn? I guess that sounds about
right. it was an interesting movie at first it reminded me of the 70's exploitation films similar
to "I Spit on your Grave/Day of the Woman" where something happens to the girl and she comes back and gets revenge but there were some hardcore porn type moments in this with Blow jobs and 69ing as
well as well as full on sex. also the kills were quite different and rather unique. The
cinematography was quite good with plenty of nice shots *lol* the acting wasn't the best but
it was good it was it felt fun and fresh and pretty realistic not the best but far from the
worst. I found the ending kind of wonky but ,he movie is kind of funny but like I said there
is plenty of T&A but also a fair warning some scenes depicted in this motion picture are not
for the faint of heart. ;)
Ancient Aliens
I like watching Documentaries some of them can be very thought provoking and fun as well as
interesting especially if it is on a topic that you are fascinated with much like this one
I found this very good I enjoyed mainly because I'm interested in this stuff. Personally I
think it is all true I don't subscribe to the be all end all answer "God did it!" like some
people try to cram down your throat or worked away at it with just a small hand chisel and
hammer I think there were helping hands out side the religion aspect and what people claim
happened but it does have many compelling arguments and is a enjoyable thought provoking
film.
Leviathan
I remember seeing the VHS box for this over the years but never took a chance on it I always
thought it was about some huge prehistoric monster under water hence the name.
I had renewed interest in this recently due to the fact that every time I went into
blockbuster the DVD case for this for some reason stood out its like the first thing I'd see
when i went in its one of those ones with the 3D lithograph on it. Anyway I thought I would
give it a watch it features many familiar faces such as Peter Weller (Robocop himself) and
Ernie Hudson (Winston Zeddemore) among others. as for the movie it was pretty good lots of
excitement and action I liked the designs of the Aqua suits those were pretty cool. but a
couple of things bothered me wouldn't a place like that have some type of underwater vehicle
like a mini sub or something? also I was wondering wouldn't it also have some type of
incinerator for garbage and waste? if so you would think it would be more logical to have
put the creature in that then shooting it out into the ocean. also the character of "six
pack" wasn't to bright you find a liquid on the bottom of the ocean your first instinct
shouldn't be to guzzle it down...?? but other then that it was a pretty good watch.
